A soldier reacts to a war.
His family shares his chore.
Oh God, please protect this being
And help him keep freedom bells ringing.
Peace will only come after great demands,
Which these are now placed in all our hands.

Hello. Yes, my name is Peggy Myers Beggy and I am a poet. I am also a Mother of four, a Grandmother of two and a wife since 1964. Poetry is a hobby, a passion and an outlet of creative expression for me.
